CVS - Free Vitamin Water

Over the past several weeks many stores have had Vitamin Water on sale at a price that matched 4/5 coupon to result in free Vitamin Water. However, perhaps this CVS deal is an example of patience paying off as you will not only get the Vitamin Water free, but also generate approximately $5 in overage. At the same time, it does require a substantial number of copies of the coupons to work and really there is no harm in just using the coupons elsewhere, which is likely what I will do with my few stragglers. Despite my abundance of toothpaste, I actually wanted to get this toothpaste when it was offered free after ExtraCare Bucks at CVS, but I was too occupied with other matters to make it to CVS. I am truly very sad that I missed out, but will not likely pick up the item at Walgreens since I am not fond of Register Rewards anymore. I am, however, extremely pleased to see Colgate expanding the free promotions to more lines of toothpaste than just Colgate Total and hope this product is promoted for free at Rite Aid sometime in the future.

I have been thinking more about the shortage of toothpaste at nonprofits that service homeless individuals. My best hypothesis as to why toothpaste is most often in dire need over other hygiene products is that it is easy for such places to amass travel sized items such as shampoo and soap from groups that attend conferences. However, toothpaste generally isn't included in the standard hotel toiletries lineup. That leaves me to wonder why doesn't a dentist fill in the gap?
