Several years ago I can recall some acquaintances of mine joining the "No Tax on Tampons" Facebook group. Although both comical and serious in nature, the group firmly opposed what equated to taxation on menstruation. The group asserted that putting taxes on products used only by women for a wholly natural occurrence is not only unfair but unjust. I can recall giggling at the fact there were a bunch of people fussing about the price and tax on tampons, when I had just aquired a shelf full for the mere price of tax, if that, at CVS. I then proceeded to offer a portion of my stash to some of those people.
